About My Artistry

My current approach to my artistry is an exploration and dialog of themes that interest me, such as nature and humanity, fragmentation, the subconscious and metaphysics. Through an abstract lens, I seek to uncover the significance of these ideas. Over the years, much of my work has been a play of abstraction and a resemblance to figurative shapes.  This visual language is an attempt to experiment with soft and hard structures seen in nature as biomorphic shapes that I "translate" into a deconstructed geometric language, that is abstract.

The human psyche and my deep interest in nature have always been prominent aspects of my artistic practice. This inner dialogue draws influences from Mesoamerican art, Neolithic art, and modernist movements, from cubism to minimalism. I often use abstract forms and muted colors to emphasize the relationship between movement, shapes, and space in my artwork.Having graduated with a master's in Cultural Studies in Sweden in 2023 and Aesthetics, these themes are recurring throughout my work and influence the pieces I create today. To me, art is a channel that connects people all over the world, a mystic language of the visual arts.
